These tributes are designed to honor the life and impact of personal heroes living and deceased who influenced the writer’s life. The tributes are limited to 500 words or less and should honor women and men whom the writer personally knows. The submission must speak directly to the honoree’s heroic influence in the writer’s life. One photograph of the writer and of the honoree are encouraged, but not required.
