Key Qualifications & Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate displays humility, a teachable spirit, consistent spiritual and moral character and integrity, and Biblical leadership qualifications of an overseer as described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Acts 6:3, and Titus 1:5-9.

• The Candidate serves as a model in the application of Biblical truths and Christian principles in his personal life, relationships with others, decision making, attitudes, and moral values.

• The Candidate has a desire to shepherd a congregation through servant leadership.

• The Candidate has experience in leading/motivating a congregation.

• The Candidate has a heart for people and a love for God. He exhibits skill in preaching, teaching, prayer, Bible study, and pastoral care

. • The Candidate is committed to providing spiritual support and guidance to individuals and families in times of need.

• The Candidate has a passion for reaching out to the local community and building partnerships with community leaders, sister churches, and new prospective members. Desired Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Theology or related field preferred, Baptist Affiliation
