Madison Erin Roy
Madison became a co-author at the age of 9 with her first book, “Flowers: A Girl with Leukemia.” A realistic fiction of a little girl struggling with the disease, proceeds from the
sale of this book are donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission, to date $15,000. The following year she wrote a second book, “Petethra’s Secret,” about a little girl with sickle cell anemia. A student at Whitefield Academy, Madison volunteers and fundraises for LLS, the Sickle Cell Association of Kentuckiana and the YMCA of Greater Louisville. Madison also hosts a weekly radio show on WLOU and has organized read-ins at Newburg Library
