Louisville - The much beloved Rev. Dr. Gregory Smith, The pastor of Hill Street Missionary Baptist Church of 40 years, was called to his eternal rest on Sunday, December 6, 2020 due to COVID-19 complications. The Late Rev. Dr. Gregory Smith was 69 years old.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tanya A. Smith and three children; Brandon Allen (Kiabe), Caitlin S. Christian (Jayce), and Imani Smith; and four grandchildren.

The late Rev. Smith will lie in state for public viewing on Friday, December 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at:

The Hill Street Baptist Church, 2203 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216

The funeral service will be private and may be viewed at 1 p.m. Friday on the Rodgers Awkard Lyons Facebook page. Interment will be in Green Meadows Cemetery.
