Rev. Woodrow Morris McElvaney, 82, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church J-town. Woodie is the Pastor Emeritus of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He also retired from Active Transportation.
He is survived by his wife, Janice McElvaney; children, Kerwin McElvaney Sr., Emma Simmons (George) and Wynette Young; stepsons, Ronald Hudson Jr. and Vaughn Hudson Sr. (Yvette); siblings, Parthenia Durrett and Emma Jean Talbert (Cecil); 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, a host of family and friends.
Visitation: 5 pm to 8 pm Friday, September 29, 2023, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 3315 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY
