Moderators Call For Churches To Aid To Flood Victims

Updated: Sep 4, 2023

The General Association of Baptists in Kentucky Moderators Respond To the Eastern Kentucky Flooding Disasters

The Moderators and their respective churches are leading the support effort for the Eastern Kentucky Flood Victims by donating $500.00 each toward the Relief Effort. Newly elected, Moderator Dr. Michael Rice of Glasgow, KY leads his moderator cabinet representing the 4 regions of the Commonwealth. We are calling on all pastors and churches of the General Association to join us as we work toward recovery and healing by supporting the victims. We ask for each church to support the aid efforts in the same way we rallied to aid our sisters and brothers victimized by the tornadoes of December 2021. Matthew 25:35&36 reminds us of our call to serve the Lord by serving his people saying:

“35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ Please Send Your Support make all checks payable to: The General Association of Baptist In KY Please Add “Eastern KY Flood Victims” in the memo line of your check Mail Your Gift To: State Mission Board Flood Victims Support The General Association of Baptist In KY 1715 West Chestnut Street Louisville, KY 40203
